KUNDALINI YOGA AND MEDITATION CLASS Creative Yoga for Conscious
Contact is a Kundalini Yoga and Meditation class that enhances physical
strength and flexibility, ignites intuition and creativity, and deepens a
connection to your highest consciousness and radiance. All ages, fitness levels
and spiritual paths welcome.
THE YOGIC JOURNEY THROUGH THE TWELVE STEPS OF RECOVERY The Yogic Journey through the Twelve Steps was developed to help individuals in recovery begin and/or continue to develop a spiritual practice. Yoga means integration of the body, mind, and spirit. We each have a body, a mind, and a spirit to attend to in our recovery and each of these aspects of our lives are in a dynamic healing process. The practice of yoga and meditation will help you better understand the spiritual principles offered in each step, allow you to accelerate your healing process, and develop and deepen your connection with a higher power of your own understanding. Each class focuses on one or more of the spiritual principles offered in the 12 Steps and include stillness, movement, reflection and meditation. You will learn postures of the hands and body, breathing, meditation techniques, and how to focus mentally to reduce cravings and obsessive thinking so that you can experience peace of mind and serenity. All the yoga and meditations is taught as did Yogi Bhajan and is contained in the book entitled, The Yogic Journey through the Twelve Steps by Lori Jones.
